Busy Hands

My hands have been busy sewing doll clothes for my nieces this Christmas and it has been a lot of fun picking out the different fabrics and seeing the tiny clothes come together.  These clothes will fit their American Dolls.
A sweet flannel nightgown with cute dogs and blue bones!

A Christmas flannel nightgown.

Fun flannel pajamas with a cupcake applique.

Pink heart flannel pajamas with a heart applique.

A polka-dot party dress!

A sweet flannel  nightgown with dogs and pink bones.

Jeans and a knit t-shirt.  These jeans were a lot of fun to make with pink double stitching.
A fleece vest, scarf and hat.  Perfect for a Minnesota doll.

"All Dolled Up"
This is the pattern book I used for all of the clothes.  It is written by Joan Hinds and it was wonderful!  I can just imagine the hours of play my nieces will have dressing their dolls up.

Blessings on your Christmas preparations today!

Oh Kathy, they turned out wonderful. You do a beautiful job of putting the fabric together and sewing the patterns. I am so proud of you! Can't wait to hear how the girls like them.

Those doll clothes are darling!!! I remember when my girls used to dress up their dolls. Wish they still did! :) My grandma used to make doll clothes for my "babies." I still have a little suitcase filled with them to this day...some 30ish years later. Your dining room is beautiful by the way and I LOVE your pink tree. :)
